If you find that copying from your Windows Vista extremely slow (50KB/s) from wifi you must try this.
Go to your device manager:
- Start – Control panel – Device manager

Control Panel - Device Manager
- Select your wifi device in ‘Network Adapter’. Mine is “Intel (R) Wifi Link 5100…)
- Right click, select ‘properties’
- Select tab ‘Advanced’
- Select ‘Ad Hoc Channel 802.11 b/g”. Change the value to 1 (default is 11)

- Press OK
Now try again to copy files from Network.. If everything work perfectly you should able to get 2MB/s
