Netbeans 6 – Configure which editor (representative class) for new type extension

A friend who is using Netbeans 6 ask how to configure Netbeans so it’ll open his start.tml as an html file not just as ordinary text file (So the editor will full with color I assume, not just black text :p)
I didn’t asked him why the hell he using .tml not just .html 
but I tell him that he can configure Netbeans 6 with:
- Choose Tools – Options
- Click on ‘Advanced Options’ button (on bottom left)
- Open the tree : ‘IDE Configuration’ – ‘System’ – ‘Object Types’
- Find ‘HTML Objects’
- Add extension tml to ‘Extension and MIME Types’ property
- Close
- Now evertime you double click .tml file it’ll call HTML objects’ representative class

gw jg baru coba2 netbean sie, tapi masih yg versi 5,
btw kalo buat ngeluarin usulan solusi error kayak di eclipse pake CTRL+1, kalo di netbean apa ya jim,
btw udah d taining k luar blom. bagi2 pengalaman dong :p

Coba yang 6 deh.. biar lebih enak code editornya, walau masih beta (masih ada beberapa bug).
Kalo di Netbeans 6 shortcutnya alt+enter.
Di tools – options – Keymap bisa diubah-ubah dan ada profile Eclipse (ngikutin list shortcut Eclipse
Waktu itu pas awal pindah seminggu ke Hongkong, belajar soal Ringback tone & company products :p
Lebih banyak pengalaman u donk, dah keliling banyak kota.
Oya bisa ya sambungin blogger ke domain u (puputs.com), wordpress bisa gak ya gw sambung ke blog.jimmod.com

Oh ya. hmm bisa kayak eclipse ya..
layak di coba tuh kayaknya.
waaah pengalaman di hongkong harus di tulis di blog jim…. pengalaman beda tuh
gw cuma sekitar sumut aja jim…gak pake Visa :p
kayaknya wordpress juga bisa deh, ada Option>Domain tapi gw juga lom pernah coba arahin ke werdpress :p

kalo di bloger gratis jim,
gw sebenernya seneng werdpress, buat masukin komenntar lebiih enakan word press jim kayaknya,
kalo mau pake dari domain redirect ke url aja jim, coba aja buka vdirect.com, tapi ntar ada iklannya,:( gw pernah coba,
ada juga yang free everydns.net tapi gw gak coba, soalnya ternyata di blogger juga menyediakan, :p

Kalo redirect dah gw coba, di blog.jimmod.com.
Tapi kan url addressnya jadi brubah :p
Dari domain management gw udah ada fitur redirect ini.

kalo pake vdirect.com gak gitu jim.
blog.jomod.com gak kan berubah alamatnya
dia tetep blog.jomod.com, trus kalo klik2 yang laen urlnya juga tetep, jadi blog.jomod.com/2007/… gitu jim, lumayan oke kan, cuma ada iklannya aja

Hi Jimmy,
I tried to put .rsel files to be highlighted like .rb files but it doesn’t works. Netbeans 6.0 generates an NullpointerException and do not open .rsel files anymore.
If I remove the extension from the configuration I can open .rsel files again, but with no highlight of course.
If you can help.

Hi Sylvestre,
I’ve try your case and also experiencing same error, NullpointerException.
I think this could be a bug, because I’m not having problem with adding new extension for Java & C++ representative class.
